Montreal, QC – In just a few short days, driver Marco Cirone and the Mark Motors Racing team will step back onto the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for another Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama race weekend.
With mixed results at this event last year, Cirone looks to maintain a winning position through the entire weekend. Cirone is a true leader, strong competitor and real gentleman but watch out! Car #88 is new, fierce and ready to show the thousands of race fans what pure Porsche racing is about. Expect him to be on the podium!
“I am so lucky to once again be able to compete and represent Mark Motors at the formula 1 race weekend in Montreal” said Cirone. “Last year in race 1 we finished 3rd overall and first in class in the saturday race and I hope to accomplish the same if not better this time around. We have an amazing crew and lots of experience on our team so our expectations are very high. Can’t wait for Friday morning practice!”
The Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada is a popular event that attracts a huge number of spectators from around the world. Cirone and the Bestline team look to combine this energetic and interactive crowd with confidence in their new cars to spell success for the weekend.
Cirone will race twice this weekend at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Quebec. Race 1 will start at 5:00 PM EST Saturday, June 10th and Race 2 will start at 10:40 AM EST on Sunday, June 11th. Both can be viewed live via streaming on imsa.com
