Bomanville, ON – This red-headed 16-year-old is the definition of talented, as Roman De Angelis is one of the youngest Canadians to ever compete in the GT3 Cup Challenge.

With Mark Motors Racing signing him just earlier this year, Roman has quickly shown what an asset he will be to this team. His first race with the team and as a Porsche GT3 Cup driver was just 2 months ago in Sebring where he took home 1st place. The team can’t wait to see what he has in store for the GT3 Cup Challenge this weekend!

“I am really excited for this weekend and for the 2017 season. I have been so fortunate throughout my racing career to have the support of so many great people, I wouldn’t be here without them.” Said De Angelis. “This is my first race for the GT3 cup in Ontario, I’d really like to get on the podium again, especially in front of my friends and family who will be cheering me on!”

The Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada will race twice during this long weekend, at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bomanville, Ontario. Race 1 will start at 9:00 AM EST Saturday, May 20th and race 2 will start precisely at 11:25 AM EST on Sunday, May 21st. Both can be viewed live via streaming on imsa.com
